...will present five cars at Targa South West from 25 - 28 May, including the team’s rare porsche
and the GTi Girls evo. If you are in the vicinity of Pemberton or Manjimup, come and say
hello to the team. And don’t forget, the GTi Racing boyz will have their Ford Capri Perana out for
it’s first tarmac rally. Now that will be a sight... sorry, sound for sore ears!

GTi Girls Co-driver (and admin slave!)

Formed in early 2011, the GTi Girls’ specialist tarmac rally team took on the men in the annual QUIT Targa West tarmac rally -- WA’s premier tarmac rally.

Confident, articulate professional women the girls set out “to mix it with the boyz” and did just that! With the support of a professional service crew supplied by the GTi Performance Centre and the assistance of some great sponsors, the girls were first outright in Ladies, second in class and third outright in Challenge Modern section; making them the first women to stand on a podium on an equal footing with the men at Targa West.

A fortnight later they backed it up by becoming the first all-female team to win a touring road rally in Australia when they won the Shannons’ One Day Classic. A month later, they became the first all-female team to win back-to-back events when they took out the AEM One Day Classic. Potential sponsors can contact the girls by phoning the GTi Performance Centre on 9434 3675 or by sending an email direct to the team.

welcome
